Silly camera debates

I enjoy reading some of the photography forums that speculate on new cameras and technology. I admit to being a sucker for technology at times.
Still I’m constantly amazed and amused by those who seem fixated on pixel count. Not the ones who want more pixels, but those who insist that today’s pixel-dense cameras are somehow inferior to cameras with fewer pixels.
I don’t begrudge them their opinions, but please, add a little sanity once and awhile. High pixel count cameras are here to stay, their quality is great and no camera maker is going to move backward no matter what you might think.
Let’s talk about something else please.
